New to the Animal Companion Alliance? Our organization was founded in 2026 with one simple goal: to train diverse companion animals for all people in any situation. Our first FY26-27 pilot program, the Cambridge Goose Project, aimed to re-tool the White Guard Geese of Cambridge for service as companion animals. We used guided speaking activities to accustom the geese to empathetic listening.
Our more advanced volunteers were trained in orienteering, using our Goose Marshalling Wands. Geese must be properly trained to work alongside humans in a fast-moving urban environment.
For too long, the White Geese of Cambridge have been cast aside and forgotten. They are here, because we brought them here. With interspecies cooperation, we can bring dignity back to the flock.
